I was leaving my mother's care facility which is located on a steep winding street in La Mesa. I was tired and just wanted to go home. I got into my car, started the engine and turned the wheel to drive away. The car stalled. A speeding car raced by the drivers side of the car not more than 2 seconds later. If my car had not stalled, it would have hit in the drivers side door (and I dought if I'd be here to tell you about it). After a few deep breaths and thanking the Angels my car started right up and I drove home.
